My experience of an unpaid internship...

Before I even begin this post I want to start by saying, I don't recommend anyone take an unpaid internship...especially when there are paid options available to you. I don't agree with unpaid internships in any way as I feel everyone should be paid for their contribution's.

With that being said, myself, I found in a very difficult position. Trying to get a paid internship in my area of Yorkshire involved with Marketing was little to nothing, and I mean nothing. Even still, I found only a handful of unpaid internships, that were involved with marketing. I should add, I was only looking for a summer internship, not a year long as it didn't fit with what I had planned.

March Favourites

I can't believe it's already the end of March. This month especially seems to have flown by and honestly I'm pretty happy about that because I can't wait for my long awaited two month trip back to the UK. Anyway, I thought I'd finally get around to doing another favourites post. My last was a winter favourites post, but I'm going to try to do these monthly now, depending on whether I have a decent amount to share with you, but I'm going to try.

Mini Target Haul

Hello everyone!

I was wondering what kind of post to share with you today and I thought why not throw all three together! So in terms of the 'lifestyle' aspects in this post, I'm sharing my Target shopping obsession with you haha. But seriously though, I could spend hours upon hours there just wondering around and looking at all the bits and pieces they have. And possibly spending a little too much time in the makeup section.

I'm considering this post to be fashion and beauty because of the contents of this mini haul. I'll start with the white mesh pen holder. I'm not really thinking of using this as a pen holder but more so to hold makeup brushes, because if you were unaware I won the Style Of Colours collab giveaway with Nanshy and other bloggers. So because my other makeup holder as become slightly....crowded due to some other new additions I thought it was high time I opted for a new one to hold some new additions. The little 'notes' book you see there is really rather cute. If you follow me on instagram you will have already seen this little beauty in a picture as I had to show off how cute the cover is. In contrast to what it says on the front though, it really is more than just notes. It has a monthly planner in the front and contacts but largely just notes. I was looking for a 'planner' but I really did only need a by monthly planner rather than weekly because those slightly bother me. But I had to grab this because it's just so cute!

Anyway, next is the NYX Love in Paris eye shadow palette. I picked this up because I was in the market for a small little palette I could take with me on my trip back to England (which I'm already on by the time you're reading this, yay!) that was kind of small to pack up in my makeup bag, but has a lot of mutual shades, but also because I really wanted to try some more things from NYX as I've only ever tried their soft matte lip creams (which are excellent may I say).

Lastly, this beautiful jumper which you'll have already seen if you caught my 'Mock Neck Jumper Outfit' post. Can I just say, the bargains you can find in the Target sales are great. This jumper sets a great example being around $12.50 at 30% off! I love the way this jumper looks because like I've said before I love the mock neck jumper trend, but high necks don't always suit me so this is kind of more subtle but still follows the trend.

Updates and mini Forever21 haul!!

Hello everyone! It's been quite a little while since I've posted on here....

I have a couple reasons for that, one of which I went back to England for 3 weeks to visit with everyone, but before that I took a trip unto Pennsylvania and New York and had some personal things I was trying to think through which had me lets just say not in the right mood for blogging. But since then and I've come back is it bad to say I've kind of forgotten? I was trying to do a job search which was successful fortunately and I've been trying to get on top of some school work but now I am fully ready to get back into the swing of things/blogging son you should be seeing a lot more of me. 

New furniture

I have wanted new furniture for the longest of time now as the ones I had in my room before I’ve had since I was a baby and are wooden and have very big feet on the bottom so they weren’t the most attractive. But also there was a huge influence on me from tumblr and youtuber’s bedrooms as when I would scroll through or watch videos they would almost always have white, beautiful, sophisticated furniture and it looked so classy! I know it may be weird to call furniture classy and sophisticated but honestly to me they look so much more put together and girly and it looked so much better, especially as I have pink and purple walls (from 5 years ago ahah).

Hi again everyone, as it’s no surprise that I love shopping thanks to my hauls, wish lists posts along with my Polyvore sets! So to follow that pattern today I’m doing a little follow me shopping post? I’m thinking about making this a new feature? Showing you around shops or clothes that I like or try on posts from the changing rooms? That’s what I’m going to do today anyway! Today’s edition is (drum roll please) NEW LOOK- yet another huge surprise…not.

Before I get into addressing this new feature, I wanted to quickly apologise for not posting in just over a week!! I have just been so swamped with work its crazy! But I will keep on top of it guys- but this might be happening more frequently than Id like because of upcoming A Level exams!!

Things I've been liking from: New Look!

Hello everyone! I thoughti would how you a couple items that I'm in love with right now, that's available in New Look. I feel like this season in particular, I'm just finding so much in there that I love! It's often slightly hit or miss for me in stores and I either walk arounf choosing everything to take to the fitting rooms with me or I see neither and leave dissapointed. Right now I am trying to stay out of their though so my bank doesn't become emptied in two days haha.

Paris

I went on a trip in October 2013 with my boyfriend, to Paris. It was so beautiful and I loved every second..I definitely want to visit there again!

Notre Dame- were so many tourists but it was so beautiful inside!

Beginners

Hello everyone! I have my very first post today, so I really hope you enjoy this, and all of my other posts to come. My blog will consist of Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle post!

I know there are thousands of people who are have blogs, and there are so many that want to start...but never think that they'd be good enough or have anything worthwhile to say that people would want to read. I know exactly what you mean, I had my judgements on myself of starting one and I have for a long time.

 But I've finally come to one conclusion: Do it.

Who cares if I don't do very well and if not many people read it? It's there for me and what I want to talk about and what I want to share with everyone, and what do I have to lose? Nothing. What do I have to gain? Everything. Starting a blog is a big step I know but how exciting to think of where it could take you and what the results of it could be, and think of the improvements you make on yourself: Confidence, Better Writing skills, Organisation skills, Creativity and thousands more.

YOU have everything to gain by starting a blog so my advice? Do it.
