Warm Neutral Eyeshadow Essentials

I've been on the hunt for this palette for a little while now, after seeing a few beauty bloggers use it. I couldn't seem to get my hands on it for a while, due to the online price being much higher than it's retail and when I tried to locate it in other Boot's branches it was sold out. Not to mention, my local Boots doesn't have an NYX stand..which I'm crossing my fingers will come soon.. However, after a recent visit to Meadowhall it was my first stop in Boots and I finally got my hands on it!  

What initially drew me to this palette is the colours, particularly the burgundy shades. I love the way the look of red shades  on green eyes, but also the other feature colours; the gold, browns and highlight shades I feel allow a variety of looks! 

The pigmentation from the first row doesn't come up as well as some of the other deeper shades, but never the less very beautiful, without the chalky texture and seem to blend well upon first impressions. I think my favourite of this row is the second shade...looks perfect for the inner corner or under the brow bone!

There are some beautiful transitional shades in this, and even includes the perfect matte shade that a lot of palettes often leave out. The fourth colour is a little bit of a let down pigmentation wise, however it's not really a colour I would find myself reaching for anyway so it's not a break for me. Otherwise, the first colour is certainly my favourite of the row, combined with the third as well.

Ahh the row that makes the palette! The red shades on this row are beautiful and as you can tell the pigmentation really pays off. I would have been disappointed if they weren't as they were the shades that were the most attractive to me, but luckily this isn't the case! The first shade is similar to one pictured before I feel, but a gorgeous colour none the less.

The perfect browns for the crease and darkening up the eye! Also adding possibility of lovely smokey looks! The first brow is again great pigmentation as well as the third...my two favourites of this!

I absolutely adore this palette, and I can't wait to get stuck in to the looks I can create with this! Great pigmentation all round and all very usable colours, with only one colour I feel I won't reach for! Fab effort on a palette NYX!
